We have three primary programs that we serve the community with currently. Support Services is a walk-in service where a refugee or immigrant can bring any questions or difficulties they are having and we will work through the different systems and community resources to help them achieve their goals and reach self-sufficiency. This could look like anything from housing applications, job applications, daycare for children, enrolling in English classes, applying for the first time and renewals of government benefits, or anything else they might need. The second program is our Project for Healing, mental health counseling program. We are the only provider in the Northeast Florida region that exclusively services refugees and immigrants at no cost to them. Therapy is an important part of building a new life in America. Refugees need a space to heal from the trauma they have endured in their journeys and process the continued difficulties of starting over in a new country. The third program is our Situational Life Crisis program. We assist clients who are experiencing life crises through our case management program. We work with the clients to identify goals and work through major life crisis until they are once again self-sufficient.
