Volunteer: MLK Day of Service - Springfield Historic District Monthly Community CleanupThis inaugural 2026 Cleanup event will be in celebration of service to our community to honor the legacy of Dr. King. Join us for this very important national day of service. The Springfield Cleanup Corps, a program of Springfield Preservation and Revitalization in partnership with the City of Jacksonville, hosts 12-15 Community Cleanup events each year to beautify our neighborhood. One of the best ways to support our work is to volunteer at a Community Cleanup. We will pick up trash along sidewalks and city right of ways in a designated portion of the Springfield Historic District. We provide gloves, trash bags, and garbage pickers for your convenience.
