This opportunity is available to both active SGA members and non-SGA students who volunteer in support of Student Government Association initiatives, programs, events, and operations.

Eligible activities may include:

Event planning and preparation, Event assistance, Campus engagement efforts, Student outreach, Committee participation, Recruitment activities, Advocacy initiatives, Leadership development opportunities, and other approved projects that contribute to the mission and goals of the SGA.

Students may submit hours completed while volunteering for SGA-sponsored activities, including service performed beyond regularly assigned responsibilities or work schedules. All hours must be directly related to supporting SGA programs, services, events, or initiatives and may be subject to verification by the SGA Advisor or designated staff member.

When submitting hours, please provide a detailed description of the activities completed and their impact on the campus community.

Help support Student Life initiatives at Deerwood Center throughout the Summer semester.

Students may earn between 0.5–1 community service hour for eligible donations. Donations must consist of individually wrapped candy bags up to 108 oz maximum.

Important Guidelines:

Deerwood Center students only One donation allowed per student each week (only one 60-75oz or 108oz bag per donation MAX). Donations must be dropped off at the designated Candy Bin location Service hours will only be awarded after donation verification and approval Open throughout the Summer semester while supplies and collection needs remain active

Support the daily operations of the Student Life Center while helping create a welcoming and engaging environment for students across campus. Volunteers will assist with front desk coverage, greet and direct students, answer basic questions, support event preparation and breakdown, and assist Student Life staff with general operational needs and campus activities.

This opportunity is ideal for students looking to gain experience in leadership, customer service, campus engagement, communication, and event operations while contributing to the overall student experience at FSCJ.

Volunteer Responsibilities May Include (will vary based on the time and needs at the time):

Covering the Student Life front desk Greeting and assisting students, faculty, and visitors Assisting with event setup, check-in, and breakdown Helping maintain organization within the Student Life Center Supporting Student Life staff with daily operational tasks Promoting upcoming campus programs and activities

Volunteers should be dependable, professional, and comfortable interacting with students in a fast-paced campus environment.

The student life center is seeking dedicated student volunteers to help facilitate the operating hours of our Fitness Center between the hours of 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. due to limited staffing. We recognize the importance of maintaining accessible fitness facilities for our student body and want to ensure that students can utilize the center more frequently and at convenient times. At this time all of our evening shifts are full.

Responsibilities:

Supervise the Fitness Center during designated hours.Ensure that equipment is used safely and properly.Assist with general upkeep and cleanliness of the space.Provide basic guidance on equipment use if needed.Report any maintenance or safety concerns.Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all users.

Qualifications:
