Location: Urban Resource Center (URC) Downtown Campus – Florida State College at Jacksonville
Help support FSCJ’s upcoming commencement ceremony by assisting with the preparation of 1,600 degree covers. Volunteers will work together to stuff and organize degree covers that will be distributed to graduates during commencement.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to one of the college’s most important celebrations while earning 5 volunteer service hours. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers during the shift.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Assist with stuffing and organizing degree covers
- Work collaboratively with other student volunteers and staff
- Maintain organization and accuracy during the assembly process
- Help ensure materials are properly prepared for commencement
- Preferably be able to remain engaged for the full volunteer shift
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Follow directions provided by staff supervising the preparation process
Volunteer Hours:
- Participants who complete the full shift will receive 5 volunteer service hours.
