About:
Celestial Farms commits to assisting people of all abilities to enjoy the therapeutic benefits caring for a garden can provide. Celestial Farms hopes to achieve their goal , to “Grow a Brighter Future” by helping to raise healthy and happy children in their summer camp program, educating the public how to grow their own food, and provide a garden space for them to practice those skills. The farm has multiple gardens and animals that provide therapeutic benefits to visitors.
#GivingTuesday Tasks:
FSCJ Volunteers will work on projects ranging from leveling compost pile, decorating Christmas trees, prepping for an upcoming wedding, mucking stalls, and fence repair.
Know before you go:
Volunteers must wear close-toed shoes and wear comfortable and appropriate clothing. A Giving Tuesday t-shirt will be provided to you. It is encouraged to bring a water bottle.
