Who We Are

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

What We Do

Make a Real Impact at The Salvation Army – Towers Center of Hope

Located at 900 West Adams Street in Jacksonville, the Towers Center of Hope is more than a shelter: it’s a launchpad for hope, healing, and new beginnings for individuals and families experiencing hardship.

Our center provides transitional housing, nourishing meals, and compassionate case management, ensuring no one has to face tough seasons alone. Beyond meeting immediate needs, the Towers Center empowers residents through life‑changing programs like financial literacy, job readiness training, health services, and access to vital medical care.

Emotional and mental well‑being matter here too. Through counseling, encouragement, and ongoing support, residents are guided toward healing and confidence. For those ready to take the next step, the transitional housing program offers hands‑on support as they move closer to permanent housing and long‑term stability.
