Who We Are

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

What We Do

The Salvation Army - Towers Center of Hope at 900 West Adams Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204, serves as a comprehensive support facility for individuals and families in need. It offers a range of services, including emergency shelter, case management, and meal services to ensure basic needs are met. Residents benefit from life skills training, such as financial literacy and job readiness, as well as health services and referrals for medical care. The center provides counseling and support services to address emotional and psychological well-being. Additionally, a transitional housing program supports those ready to move towards permanent housing. The Towers Center of Hope also engages in community outreach to connect individuals with available resources and support, empowering them to achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
