Who We Are
Student Life at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) exists to enhance the student experience beyond the classroom by fostering engagement, leadership development, and a strong sense of campus community. Through programs, events, and leadership opportunities, Student Life supports students in building meaningful connections with peers, faculty, and the broader community.
Our offices across FSCJ campuses serve as a hub for student involvement, offering opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, participate in campus traditions, engage in service, and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive college environment. Student Life works closely with student organizations, Student Government Association (SGA), campus departments, and community partners to create experiences that promote personal growth, civic responsibility, and student success.
What We Do
Student Life coordinates a wide range of programs and initiatives designed to support student engagement, leadership development, and community involvement. Our work includes organizing campus events, facilitating student leadership programs, supporting student organizations and SGA, and connecting students with volunteer and service opportunities.
Through platforms such as FSCJ Serves and other engagement initiatives, Student Life provides students with opportunities to participate in service projects, campus activities, and leadership programs that contribute to their personal and professional growth. By encouraging active participation in campus life, Student Life helps students build skills, strengthen their leadership abilities, and develop a lasting connection to their college community.
