Greetings FSCJ Students,
We are seeking volunteers for one of the largest student-lead Science Festival in Jacksonville! The Jacksonville Science Festival is a fabulous 3-day event that brings the community together with K-12 students. Our 11th annual festival is March 2-4
Our theme this year is "What's the Big Picture?" Would you help be part of the Big Picture and be a volunteer? The tasks do not require special skills, just a willingness to help! We need set-up/take-down help, surveyors, tour guides and general help directing guests. Ideal for students who need community service hours.
***As a volunteer, you will receive a SUPER COOL t-shirt, and be treated to coffee and donuts, and a nice lunch (free lunch Thursday & Friday only). Our team is also here to sign off on any volunteers "hours worked" log. Please be aware that all jobs will require being outdoors as the festivals are open air events.
Thursday March 2 & Friday March 3 - FSCJ South Campus
Saturday March 4 - Metro Park
Thank you,
Jen Crews
