Each year, thousands of people across the country join the Walk MS volunteer team.
From planning event details and calling past participants to providing safety and support for participants at the event, volunteers make Walk MS happen and are the foundation of why Walk MS is the largest walking fundraising event in the country.

We are seeking volunteers to support various event areas, including setup and breakdown, registration, rest stops, food and beverage stations, First Aid, and other special event activities.
- Friday (04/04/2025) Event Set Up – 5.30pm to 8.30pm
- Saturday (04/05/2025) Morning Event Set Up – 6.30am to 8.30am (Volunteers can finish after set up or stay and working the event shift below)
- Saturday (04/05/2025) Event volunteer – 7.30am to 12pm – Assisting with the following areas: Food Service, Event Registration, special event areas including, handing out Circles of Support flags, helping people write messages on the giant Why I walk Poster, handing out Why I walk Bibs, and supporting the participants as they start and finish the walk.
- Hydration stations – 8am to 11.30am – 3 groups of 5 volunteers to support the hydration station on route, handing out refreshments and providing support and encouragement.
