Join us for a volunteer opportunity at Animal Care & Protective Services on Saturday, September 13th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 2020 Forest Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204.
Our group of volunteers will assist with supporting the shelter’s mission to care for animals.
Volunteers make a huge difference in the lives of the thousands of animals that enter the shelter each year. We could not save the number of animals that we do without our incredible volunteer team and those that participate in our Stroll Mates program.
So often, ACPS is over capacity with the number of dogs entrusted in our care. Our Stroll Mates program is an easy and rewarding way for you to take dogs out on a nice long, leisurely sniffy walk - a great opportunity to give the pups a much-needed break from their kennels! Participating in a Stroll Mates event is incredibly rewarding for the participants and, of course, the pups!
Please remember to:
- print, sign, and bring the waiver form https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:e4228345-410c-4ba1-9bcc-25dcd8004808
- wear closed-toed shoes and long pants
- and bring a water bottle.
Parking is available in the lot directly in front of the shelter, and volunteers should check in at the lobby upon arrival.
