Special Olympics is a nonprofit organization that provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Service Learning Tasks
Soft skills, work well with others who have disabilities, assist with events with check in procedures, and bringing a smile to all the people that are being helped.
What to Know Before You Go
Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and a hat, and bring a reusable water bottle. Gloves, trash bags and water refill stations will be provided.
Volunteer spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
