About:
Tiger Academy focuses on rigorous academic standards, character development, personal and social responsibility and strong family involvement, while providing each child with a structured and nurturing learning environment. The learner-centered culture includes a 7 ½-hour school day and a 195-day school year, with before and after school care available.
#GivingTuesday Tasks:
FSCJ Volunteers will work preparing for the school’s upcoming Jingle Bell Walk. Volunteers will help make medals for the students who complete the 1-mile walk. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to assist teachers in their classrooms as well.
Know before you go:
Volunteers should wear comfortable and appropriate clothing. A Giving Tuesday t-shirt will be provided to you. It is encouraged to bring a water bottle.
