Join the first Advocacy Night event of the year hosted by the Jacksonville Public Educational Fund These events have been in the works for some time now and I am so excited to finally kick them off. This first event will be held over Zoom on Monday, September 20th from 6:00-7:30PM. Please register HERE to let us know you will be attending.
The topic of this event will be restorative justice and practices in schools. This has been a key area of focus in our work with teachers and principals and we can't wait to bring you all, as parents and community members, into the fold. We will hear from experts from the Center for Children's Rights and the Urban League, as well as a principal from our School Leadership Initiative. Additionally, we will provide you with calls to action to advocate for restorative practices in your communities.
