We are seeking volunteers for one of the largest student-lead Science Festival in Jacksonville! The Jacksonville Science Festival is a fabulous 3-day event that brings the community together with K-12 students. Our tenth annual festival is March 24-26.
Our theme this year is "How does your garden grow?" Would you help grow this event by being a volunteer? The tasks do not require special skills, just a willingness to help! We need set-up/take-down help, surveyors and general help directing guests. Ideal for students need community service hours. Volunteers receive an awesome t-shirt.
We are looking for up to 30 volunteers for Thursday and Friday and 50 volunteers for Saturday!
Thursday March 24 & Friday March 25 @ FSCJ South Campus (11901 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32246)
Saturday March 26 @ Metro Park (1410 Gator Bowl Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32202)
Shifts are from 8am-Noon or Noon- 4pm.
