Volunteers will assist case managers to deliver core services to refugee clients to reach their self-sufficiency goals. This might include information benefits for clients, CWS Program, services, and orientations. Volunteering at a resettlement agency can involve a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting refugees and immigrants as they navigate their new lives in a different country. Here are some common volunteer responsibilities at our resettlement agency.
Welcome and Orientation, Language Support, assist refugees setting up their new homes, Education and Training, Healthcare Access, Social Services Assistance, Community Outreach and Administrative Support (Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing paperwork, answering phones, and organizing program materials. Provide support to staff members as needed to ensure smooth program operations).
Varied hours and we can adjust to your availability of time, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5 pm
