Description

Our Volunteers station outside Duval County Courthouse.

**Please Confirm your schedule with the organization before coming to the site**

Our primary activity is to offer free toys to children entering the courthouse. In addition, we provide literature to adults who may be in need of services.

Students will be able to practice civic engagement, public speaking, compassionate outreach, and become knowledgeable about local area services we promote from organizations with similar missions. These include Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, United Way, Hubbard House, The Women's Center of Jacksonville, Daniel Kids, The Child Guidance Center and others.

Bilingual and Multilingual students are encouraged to apply.

Students working toward degrees in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, or Social Services will benefit greatly from participating in this program.

Volunteers will be outdoors for the duration of their 3-hour shift.
