PSMJax is a leading partner in efforts to end homelessness and operates as the community distributor of clothing by building a community where everyone has access to the essential goods and resources they need.

We are the connector. From those who have to those who need.

PSM has 2 unique programs.

1) Home Safe:

Since 2005, this program has offered a stable housing solution to 60 chronically homeless households, benefiting over 200 clients across Jacksonville. Our approach involves providing secure housing while empowering individuals to regain autonomy. We offer continuous case management support, aiding in their transition to independence, including employment opportunities, accessing benefits, and, if suitable, guiding them toward rehabilitation programs.

2) Clothing with Purpose.
PSMJax operates as Northeast Florida’s primary clothing bank resource for a vast network of over 100 community partners united in our mission to eradicate clothing insecurity. The primary objective is to alleviate the financial burden of clothing expenses for low-income households, thereby fostering stability and self-sufficiency. Envision the food bank model only with clothing. We procure the clothing, sort, and inventory it, and subsequently distribute it to our front-line agency partners, who then serve individuals in need. We enable smaller agencies to provide clothing support as part of their mission by taking on labor-intensive tasks otherwise challenging for their limited staff. (receiving, sorting, inventorying) We streamline the process for agencies serving various demographics including prison ministries, post-incarceration, school-based and church closets, foster families, homeless outreach programs, expectant mothers, human trafficking and domestic violence survivors, Veteran organizations, college students refining interview skills, and participating in health fairs and community giveaways to name a few.
